Ska Keller: Situația din România este îngrijorătoare/ Cele trei motive pentru care grupul verzilor a cerut o dezbatere în Parlamentul European

Demiterea Laurei Codruța Kovesi de la șefia DNA în ciuda avizului negativ al CSM, modificările la Codurile Penale și violențele din 10 august împotriva protestatarilor pașnici sunt cele trei motive pentru care grupul verzilor a solicitat o dezbatere în Parlamentul European pe tema situației statului de drept în România, a explicat pentru G4Media.ro Ska Keller, copreședinta grupului verzilor din Parlamentul European. Keller mai spune că este nevoie de înființarea unei comisii care să monitorizeze situația statului de drept din România, iar Comisia ar trebui, în opinia ei, să demareze rapid o investigație pe această temă.

Rep: De ce  dorește grupul dvs. politic să aducă în discuție în Parlamentul European situația din România? 

Ska Keller: Situația din România este cu adevărat îngrijorătoare. Suntem profund îngrijorați de recenta inițiativă a ministerului justiției de a demite procurorul șef al DNA în ciuda avizului negativ al CSM.

Suntem de asemenea îngrijorați de modificările la Codul Penal și Codul de Procedură Penală. Lupta împotriva corupției este un pilon important în menținerea și îmbunătățirea statului de drept în România. Aceasta trebuie susținută, nu diminuată.

Utilizarea violenței de forțele de ordine împotriva protestatarilor pașnici este inacceptabilă. Noi, verzii, suntem alături de toți românii din țară și din diaspora care luptă pentru democrație și împotriva corupției

Rep: Veți propune înființarea unui comisii de monitorizare a situației statului de drept în România?
Ska Keller: Comisia ar trebui să monitorizeze situația îndeaproape și să evalueze dacă România respectă regulile statului de drept. România trebuie să asigure calitate procesului legislativ și să respecte reguli fundamentale.

Rep: Sistemul judiciar românesc este deja monitorizat în cadrul MCV (Mecanismul de Verificare și Control). Care ar fi rolul unei noi comisii de monitorizare?
Ska Keller: MCV a fost creat pentru a măsura progresul. Dar avem de-a face cu o situație exact contrară. Din acest motiv este nevoie de o investigație imediată din partea Comisiei.

Parlamentul European va dezbate în prima săptămână din octombrie, într-o ședință de plen, situația statului de drept din România, iar Comisia pentru libertăți va avea o dezbatere pe aceeași temă cu prim-vicepreședintele Comisiei Europene, Frans Timmermans, a anunțat, joi, Siegfried Mureșan, purtătorul de cuvânt al PPE.

Decizia privind dezbaterea situației din România a fost luată joi de șefii grupurilor politice din Parlamentul European. Detaliile dezbaterii – numele invitaților, formatul discuției etc – vor fi stabilite la următoarea ședință a președinților de grupuri parlamentare, pe 13 septembrie. Inițiativa dezbaterii a fost a grupului Verzilor din Parlamentul European.

    Pana ce astia stabilesc „detaliile dezbaterii” cu Lista invitatilor, etc, garantez ca Dragnea o „trimite” pe Veorica Dancila in „vizita oficiala” in Turcia sau Belarus… in vreo alta tara din UE nu cred ca o primeste cineva!
    Sau, poate la Budapesta!!

  3. ce stia toata Romania…acum ati aflat .. halal parlament european…sunt pentru UE, inse cum s-a construit acum UE nu prea e pe calea cea buna…o birocratie fara alegri libere directe. UE trebuie reformata la nivel politic.

    Dar de protocoalele alea infame nu o doare burta? Atât de proastă e incât a spus in Parlamentul European că Guvernul a trimis POLIȚIA peste protestatarii pașnici pe 10 august!
    Vorbărie golită de conținut, tupeu jegos ca și la Timmermans!
    Fiind „verde” e o kraut!
