Număr record de cazuri noi de COVID-19 raportate de la nivel global: 212.326 de cazuri în 24 de ore, dintre care un sfert doar în SUA

Organizaţia Mondială a Sănătăţii (OMS) a raportat în ultimele 24 de ore 212.326 noi cazuri de coronavirus la nivel global, reprezentând cea mai ridicată cifră de la declanşarea pandemiei de COVID-19, relatează duminică agenţia Xinhua, citată de Agerpres.ro.

Cea mai mare creştere a fost raportată pe continentul american cu 129.772 noi cazuri, potrivit OMS, care subliniază că jumătate dintre noile cazuri înregistrate într-o singură zi au fost raportate în SUA şi Brazilia cu 53.213 de infecţii şi, respectiv, 48.105 noi contagieri. În SUA, totalul numărului de cazuri a ajuns la 2.836.764 de la debutul pandemiei, iar cel al deceselor la 129.657.

Aceste cifre arată totuşi o încetinire a noilor cazuri, comparativ cu cele trei zile precedente, care au marcat toate praguri record, printre care şi cele 57.000 noi cazuri raportate vineri. Însă acest weekend, marcat de sărbătorirea Zilei Naţionale la 4 iulie, ar putea fi motivul acestui recul.

SUA sunt de departe cea mai afectată ţară din lume, preşedintele SUA, Donald Trump, arătând sâmbătă din nou cu degetul spre China, de unde a pornit noul coronavirus, reiterând că va trebui „să dea socoteală”, pentru actuala situaţie şi a „lăudat” răspunsul dat de Administraţia sa la gestionarea pandemiei.

Asia de Sud-Est, a doua mare regiune a lumii, a raportat 27.947 noi cazuri şi 534 de decese în ultimele 24 de ore.

O altă ţară afectată de noul coronavirus este Mexic, care a înregistrat 523 de decese în ultimele 24 de ore, care a ridicat bilanţul total al victimelor la 30.366, depăşind astfel Franţa şi devenind a cincea ţară cu cel mai mare număr de morţi din întreaga lume.

Ministerul Sănătăţii din Mexic a raportat de asemenea 6.914 noi contagieri şi un total de 252.165 de cazuri confirmate.

Potrivit ministrului adjunct al sănătăţii, Hugo Lopez Gatell, numărul actual al infectărilor este însă probabil mai mare. Reprezentanţi ai societăţii civile au contestat cifrele raportate de guvern, precizând de exemplu că în data de 19 iunie au murit de două ori mai multe persoane decât cele raportate de autorităţi. O informaţie care nu a putut fi imediat verificată de Reuters.

Nu e logic sa fie asa si sa creasca exponential? Ce „record”?
Numarul real de cazuri e de cel putin 10x mai mare. Arafat, care se astepta sa scada numarul, bate campii sau are alte interese. Important e ca nr intubatilor si decedatilor scade.
