This year, Murex Connectivity brought Luxoft the award of the Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS), the only Romanian association in the field, in the category „Software outsourcing solution of the year”, at the 9th edition of ANIS Gala. 

The project was evaluated according to complexity, the business needs it solves, the impact it has on the client’s business and the number of customers or users involved from the client. 

Over 150 developers were involved in the development of the project, a team that grew organically over 10 years of partnership between the local team and the client.

„Initially, it was a small team of 12 Java programmers”, recalls Bogdan Paduraru, Senior Delivery Director Luxoft and coordinator of the project. „Now, the project has involved 150 active roles in adapted software development, most of them Java developers, in collaboration with experts in the area of banking and capital markets, two of the most important business directions in Luxoft. That’s because, working very applied on industries such as automotive, banking, telecom, retail, our teams combine software development skills, doubled by know-how regarding the field in which the client operates”. 

The project was coordinated and implemented in a hybrid regime, the 150 specialists working from the headquarters in Bucharest, from the new offices opened by Luxoft in Iasi and Cluj-Napoca or anywhere, according to the flexible regime adopted by the company in recent years.  

„The project has a cyclical development, which means that it constantly brings challenges and new technologies for our colleagues, but any member of the team has the possibility, both during a project and at its completion, to opt for other challenges within the company”, says Bogdan. „He can train for new technologies, he can keep up to date about what other projects and customers exist in the company, he can be transferred to another Luxoft project and/or software development center in the world; we have centers in Mexico, USA, Germany, Poland, Romania, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, etc.”.
