According to a press release issued by the Executive, the act concerns the filling and the organization and conduct of competitions for vacant and temporarily vacant public positions within the authorities, public institutions, and bodies responsible for the management and control of funds granted under the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, as well as within the beneficiary structures responsible for the implementation of commitments made under this mechanism.

These posts may be filled for the duration of the implementation of the NRRP, i.e. until 31 December 2026.

„The measure was taken (derogating from the provisions of Article 618 of GEO 57.2019 on the Administrative Code), given that the implementation period of the NRRP is relatively short, and specialized human resources are needed for this so that the NRRP can be implemented within the assumed deadlines. 31 August 2026 is the date by which 507 milestones and targets associated with key investments and major reforms related to the six main pillars have been committed to being met,” the release states.
