No increase in radioactivity in Romania as a result of the war in Ukraine – Government

The Romanian government has announced that „there is no increase in radioactivity in Romania” according to measurements carried out by the National Commission for the Control of Nuclear Activities (CNCAN).

The government spokesman’s remarks come amid rumors of increases in this level of radioactivity in Ukraine.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced on Sunday that a nuclear waste repository in Kyiv was hit by missiles on Saturday night, with no damage and no radioactive leak detected, reports EFE, quoted by Agerpres.
